# Twitch Notifications

{% hint style="warning" %}
This module is currently in Early Access, meaning only Servers with TwiLite's Inferno subscription have access to it. The module will be made freely available for all Servers in the future, once considered stable.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
The Twitch Notifications module is only available when adding TwiLite to Servers.
{% endhint %}

For Servers wanting to have an automated feed of when Twitch Channels start new live streams, TwiLite offers a Twitch Notification module!

With this module, Admins can setup up to 5 Twitch Notifications (limit is per-Server not per-Channel).\
Each notification can also be configured with the following:

* Should the notification `@ping` a Role when posted
* Which Channel should the notification be posted in
* If posting to an Announcement Channel, should the notification be automatically published
* Should the notification use a custom "going live" message, or the default one
* If the posted notification should be updated when the Twitch stream has ended

### How to setup/manage Twitch Notifications

To setup or manage Twitch Notifications for the Server, simply use the `/notifier twitch` Slash Sub-command. This will bring up a panel with buttons that Admins can use to add, edit, or remove Twitch Notifications for the Server.

### What happens when the Server's TwiLite Inferno subscription expires?

Should the Server's Inferno subscription expire or is cancelled, then (due to being in Early Access) all Twitch Notifications setup for the Server will be disabled *but not removed*.

This means no more Twitch Notifications will be posted to the Server while Inferno is not active. However, re-purchasing Inferno in the Server will re-enable all previously setup Twitch Notifications.
