# Guest Voice Invites

Ever wanted to invite a guest to one of your Server Voice Channels, but didn't want/need to give them full access to your Server?\
Then make a Guest Voice Invite!

{% hint style="info" %}
The Guest Voice Invites Command is only available when adding TwiLite to Servers.
{% endhint %}

Through use of TwiLite's `/invite-guest` Command, you can create Guest Voice Invites that other Users (who are *not* already in your Server) can use to temporarily join your Server's Voice Channel, without gaining full access to your whole Server.

Users who join via these Guest Voice Invites are labelled as "Guests" in your Server.\
Guests can:

* only see & use the Voice Channel the Invite points to (depends on the permissions `@everyone` has),
* **not** see any other Channel (of any type) in the Server
* will automatically be removed from the Server when disconnecting from the Voice Channel in question.

This makes use of a lesser known built-in Discord feature, and exposes it for better discoverability.\
Due to this however, there are some limitations as follows:

* Your Server **must:**
  * have less than 200 total members
  * **not** have a Vanity Invite set
  * **not** have Onboarding questions/prompts set

If your Server fails to meet *all* of the above requirements, it will not have access to this Discord feature that TwiLite makes use of.

{% hint style="warning" %}
These limitations can**not** be altered or changed by TwiLite's developer. They are enforced by Discord itself.\
If you wish for Discord to change these so that more Servers can use Guest Voice Invites, then use their [Feedback form here](https://feedback.discord.com/).
